This was taken at a media scrum, held by Bill Bruce, head of Animal & Bylaw Services for Calgary. The person seen here (who was snapping a picture of Bruce) is one of the protesters and campers from the Olympic Plaza camp. There were a couple questions asked by the protesters (not really answered) and after Bruce answered questions, three of the protesters held their own scrum.

I visited Downtown Calgary on Saturday, October 15, 2011 to get some pictures of the "Occupy Calgary" gathering which is part of the movement that started with "Occupy Wall Street". I was happy to find that on the same day there was a Zombie Walk that was also downtown. So, I got some pics from both. From all I saw, both events were pretty peaceful. The Zombies won't be back till next year. The Occupy Calgary are trying to maintain an ongoing action, with some protesters camped out on St. Patrick's Island.

Grant Neufeld is one of the more well known activists in Calgary for some time. So, it wasn't surprising to seem him here. It was generally hard to get photos, because of how everyone was gathered around in a circle, so that all I could get was people's backs. So, I had to wait for a head turn.
