This is the first time since my bike accident on August 10, that I've been able to use my DSLR camera. It is still hard to hold the camera with both hands, so that I missed most shots, or took lower quality shots with one hand, and didn't switch lenses. But, it's a start. It seemed fitting to take a bike shot. I believe this person was just passing by. The sign being held the background is for MLA Kent Hehr.
David Swann is the MLA Calgary Mountain View. He is the former leader of the Alberta Liberals. Pride Calgary has an annual parade, with the next one set for September 2, 2012.
