Children’s Wish With Calgary Pride
Biking by Pride
This is the first time since my bike accident on August 10, that I've been able to use my DSLR camera. It is still hard to hold the camera with both hands, so that I missed most shots, or took lower quality shots with one hand, and didn't switch lenses. But, it's a start. It seemed fitting to take a bike shot. I believe this person was just passing by. The sign being held the background is for MLA Kent Hehr.
Constable M. Ponting #4850
On July 4, 2012 I was taking some photos with my cell phone at a fashion show on Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary, Alberta. Sadly, I left my DSLR at home. After I gave up (due to a low quality camera, and too crowded to get clear shots), I met a couple people who are clearly in the wrong profession.
Calling for freedom in Tibet
On March 10, 2012 people protested around the world to mark the anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan uprising. In Calgary protesters gathered outside the Chinese Consulate, after marching from Olympic Plaza (I missed that part). There was a good turnout, so that the side walk was to crowded to walk along, and I had to take almost all my shots across the street.

Compassion is the Fashion
Lovely Leopard
PETA held a publicity event on Steven Avenue, waving at cars going down 3rd Street SW, in downtown Calgary on December 14, 2011. The orignal plan was to have three nearly naked women appear with body painting as a leopard, cow, and snake. Due to the weather there were just two (the cow is off camera, and the snake did not come). The leopard, seen here, wasn't outside when I came, but came out so I could get a picture.
