This is the first time since my bike accident on August 10, that I've been able to use my DSLR camera. It is still hard to hold the camera with both hands, so that I missed most shots, or took lower quality shots with one hand, and didn't switch lenses. But, it's a start. It seemed fitting to take a bike shot. I believe this person was just passing by. The sign being held the background is for MLA Kent Hehr.
This is a bike parked at Olympic Plaza in downtown Calgary.
This is one of the photos I took at the Calgary Stampede Parade on July 4, 2008.
This was by Shaw Millennium Park, at the parking lot, where things wrapped up.
This is one of the photos I took at Tomkins Park (17 Avenue and 8 Street SW) in Calgary, Alberta. There were two rallies, that partially overlapped each other. Anti-seal protesters came first, and then the anti-war protesters followed.
Collette Lemieux, with the Canadian Peace Alliance, was one of the anti-war rally organizers.
One of numerous cops watching the march. Off camera to the left, are protesters standing outside the U.S. consulate. This is the corner of Macleod Trail and 7 Avenue SE.
This is one of the photos I took of a demonstration by a small group of Nazis (organized by the Aryan Guard) and a much larger group of anti-racists opposing the Nazis at Calgary's City Hall on Saturday, October 14, 2007.
Taken at RIDES 'n' RODS '07.
