This shot wasn’t really about the event. I just thought he had a bit of a "western sheriff" look to him.
He was one of several Calgary Police Service officers watching the protesters. There were no arrests or serious problems to my knowledge. Although, I read in the Calgary Herald that bylaw officers have been ticketing a lot for very minor offenses those at Olympic Plaza, for everything except camping.
Occupy Calgary held a protest outside Calgary City Hall on Saturday, November 12, 2011 to protest the city’s plans to evict those occupying Olympic Plaza.
