Not exactly sure what the megaphone was for. I think she was a volunteer and/or staff. I realize this is a bit blurry (saying "soft" sounds better), but lighting was tough. Any more than 400 ISO, and things get spotty. So, I ended up with a shutter speed of 1/20. So, I'm looking it wasn't more blurry.

All together
This is from my photoshoot with Jasleen, Mandeep, and Sandeep at Fish Creek Park, in Calgary, Alberta, on April 16, 2010. As it turned, I ended up not getting a lot of great backdrops in my pics. The sun was very bright, and gave harsh shadows, that I wasn't handling well, with or without flash. So, I found I got the best results in shade, which this was (under a bridge).
Watching the water
This is Mandeep under the Macleod Trail bridge that passes over Fish Creek. She and Sandeep played with splashing water, which was a great idea, but I was signficantly limited by the lack off wireless camera flash (I had a flash on a cord). So, all the splash shots have shadows. But, I still liked them.

Butterfly and a mite
I don't know the type of butterfly this is, and I don't even know if that little thing nearby is a mite or what. Today, I tried out my Canon 70-300mm on the butterflies. With a flash, it seemed to work pretty well, as far as detail goes. The flash overexposed the plant's front, so I reversed that with PS's Camera Raw, which did a great job.
