This is a photo of the very beautiful Sophia, taken at our October 7, 2010 photo shoot at Eau Claire (here) and Prince's Island.
This was one of the shots that was outside the main theme of waking up outside (see others in set). A difficulty with the park, is it's small, so it's pretty hard not to get surrounding houses and other buildings. For this, I figured it was ok.
So, what if you woke up, and found yourself outside, surrounded by ruins?
This was from my photo shoot at Prairie Winds Park, with Diane, who was great fun to work with, and obviously very beautiful.
This was one of the few spots that afforded some shade. I liked the colour of the ceiling for background.
We took this in the playground area. I made the top blue, just because I preferred that over some purple that was in it. I made the rest black and white, especially because I didn't like the chipped yellow paint in the foreground.
It looks warmer than it was. There was a cool wind, and the water seemed a bit chilly. Ultimately, we both got drenched, when it rained at the end of the shoot.
I wanted to improve the look of my FlickR page, after not being very active for quite a while. I haven't taken any photographs that are worthwhile lately. So, I went back through my archives to find the best photo I haven't posted yet. This is Diane at Prairie Winds Park in Calgary on August 23, 2010.
Mode models put on a fashion show. Some of this is the real background, but the white on camera left is actually a crowd of people "brightened" to the point of whiteness.
This is from the Mode Models fashion show. It was definately to hot to be wearing a coat.
Some sunglasses were modeled. If you look real close you can almost see me in the reflection.
This is about when we wrapped up for the day. After I had her pose with it (the flower), I noticed she put it in her hair, creating an obvious next shot. I ended up liking it more than some of the more planned/setup shots.
The bra is actually a bright orange. So, black and white seemed to make it blend a bit better.
This is from my photo shoot with Daniella (MM# 1771851) in Fish Creek Park. Daniella was great to work with. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer (though it was a long shoot).
