This is Jasleen at one of the campsight shelters. I liked how her coat looked like it was blowing in the wind (even though I don't think it was).

This is from my photoshoot with Jasleen, Mandeep, and Sandeep at Fish Creek Park, in Calgary, Alberta, on April 16, 2010. As it turned, I ended up not getting a lot of great backdrops in my pics. The sun was very bright, and gave harsh shadows, that I wasn't handling well, with or without flash. So, I found I got the best results in shade, which this was (under a bridge).
This is Mandeep under the Macleod Trail bridge that passes over Fish Creek. She and Sandeep played with splashing water, which was a great idea, but I was signficantly limited by the lack off wireless camera flash (I had a flash on a cord). So, all the splash shots have shadows. But, I still liked them.
This is Jasleen pretending to take a sip from Fish Creek, under the MacLeod Trail bridge.
This is Sandeep under the Macleod Trail bridge that crosses Fish Creek. The blurry background is the stones by the water (blur was intentional). This spot seemed to give the best light I thought.
In another pic of Sandeep, it was suggested that the eyes should be brighter. In this one, I got a sharper brighter picture of the eye closest to the camera. With a shallow DoF, and shadow, the other eye is less clear. I like this effect, but not sure if others agree.
This is Mandeep in a small burnt out area in the park. I made it black and white so she and her outfit (which had lots of colour), would match the tree, which lacked colour.
