I was planning on shooting protest downtown this day. But, something came up, and I missed it. So, while downtown I took some street shots, including this.
The Underwear Affair is a a walk/run to raise funds for cancers "below the waste" on June 5, 2010 in Calgary. This is a mini race on Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary on April 15, designed to promote the upcoming event. People competed in pairs, with each pair sharing gigantic underwear.

I haven't any idea of the reason for the outfits. A group dressed in Navy outfits were walking along Stephen Avenue handing out stuff, I think. You can see most of my pics this day had a lot of problem with the sunlight, creating heavy shadows and washed out bright spots.
Not really a sketch on my part, but I decided to play with the "Sketch" function in my photo editor. Lots of young people were drawing what they saw at the Calgary Zoo. I assume it was they were students doing it for school.
For some reason, I've liked doing the "color/b&w" thing lately. The violinist, Sarah Anderson, was busking by the Telus Convention Centre along Stephen Avenue Mall on a very nice weather day.
This is one of the picturess I took at a pro-Conservative rally designed to protest the proposed coalition of opposition parties. Protesters gathered along Macleod Trail between City Hall and Olympic Plaza on Saturday, Decemer 6, 2008. It was self-titled the Rally For Canada.

This is one of the pictures I took of the 2008 Dead Mile. Zombies gathered at Olympic Plaza and then walked through the downtown and beltline area. They finished at Shaw Millennium Park
