Hate not welcome here
In the Calgary community of Hillhurst, activists rallied against racism in general and the Aryan Guard specifically. The protest started on Kensington Road, went North along 10 Street NW (seen here), and then wound up shortly after at Riley Park. The event was organized by Anti-Racist Action (ARA) Calgary.
What would make a good picture?

Mocking the saviour
I happened to be looking through some pics from a Christian-themed silent street play on Canada Day and thought this one was worth adding to the existing set. Picture quality sucks because of the distraction of passerbys, and focus isn't great, but it fills a gap in the story line of the play. My Canada Day set is ordered by time taken, if you're interested in seeing them in chronological order. Sometimes I like to look back at older pics and figure out what was happening.

Breast Cancer Fighters
Marchers wore pink for the Breast Cancer Survivors Parade put on in and outside of Banker's Hall in downtown Calgary. Done partly as a fundraiser, but mainly to honor the fight by survivors against cancer, it featured a hundred or so survivors of the disease marching on Stephen Avenue Mall. The event was organized by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) and sponsored by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
