All lights, no house
A house in Capital Hill, with the top of a building at SAIT in the background. I got some other shots that actually show the house, using long exposure, or using flash, but I somehow like this a little more at the moment. The flash was actually supposed to fire here, but didn't for some reason (despite what the EXIF says).

More ghosts on swings
This test didn't work as well as the others I posted. I tried to get my head to appear over each of four swings. But, things didn't line up right, so I cropped out half of the photo that didn't work. I used Sepia to hide some funny colors showing as much as for the "old fashioned" look. Anyways, it's still a neat effect, worth playing with.

I took this is on a night time (when night starts at 5:08pm) photo walk (take a guess where in Calgary). I haven't figured out if I prefer it with the white balance "fixed" or with the shot setting (see previous photo). A third version, is with a flash, so the foreground is "correct" white, and the background has the redish look.
