On June 27, 2009 there was an anti racism rally and march, that went from Kensington Road to Riley Park in Calgary. Fortunately, the Aryan Guard didn't appear, and there were no confrontations (not counting some police/activist disagreements).

The police, particularly this officer, asked a number of people to search their backpacks and bags. A signficant portion agreed to do so. But, the woman on the left steadfastly refused his initially "friendly" request, and the progressively tougher bullying attempts. He was obviously unhappy, but was also very careful to stay within the technical limits of what he's allowed to say and do.
