Fireside Pizza on Stephen Avenue
I didn't get any great photos for the day, but I tried out their pizza for the first time, and it was great. They cook personal size pizzas in a couple minutes. It also seems much safer than eating at a pizza-by-the-slice spot. I'm not sure how they could bare the heat where they were standing, as it was in direct sunlight most of the time, and the oven must of just added to it. The picture's not that great, as I didn't want to (further) inconvience a camera shy customer, standing just out of sight. This is on 8 Avenue at 1 Street SW.
Isn’t that cheating?
Team EMS with Moose
The annual Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion fundraiser took place outside of Eau Claire Market in Calgary on Sunday, June 14, 2009. It raises money to find a cure for spinal injuries, as well as improving accessibility for people with disabilities. People who are able to walk find out what it's like to navigate a race course in a wheelchair. Competitors included politicians and media personalities.

Carifest guitar 2009
Carifest is an annual festival held in Calgary to celebrate Caribean culture. This year, it was free to the public, but it had to skip the parade, that normally accompanies it. I didn't do as well with getting pictures this year, partly because the best view of the stage was for people wading in water. I did much better with pictures of the 2008 Carifest Parade.
