This was by Olympic Plaza, as people wait to start the parade, with delays caused by the sporadic rain. This is one of the photos I took at the annual Carifest parade in downtown Calgary on June 7, 2008.
Something I had trouble understanding, is how some signs had pictures of former PMs with quotes (Pearson and Trudeau) , that didn't actually support the cause.
