The demolition is part of the "Bow Valley College Redevelopment" (according to a sign). This is on 3 Street at 6 Avenue SE in downtown Calgary.

Building inspector arrives at accident site

This is across the street from the old court building (seen here) on 7 Avenue at 4 Street SW, by the LRT platform, which is being taken down. A granite slab fell from the building onto the LRT platform (nobody was hurt) and the inspector arrived to make sure the LRT platform was safe, and could be reopened. Read more here.

This is a picture of a choir I took on Stephen Avenue Mall on September 26, 2008. I beleive they were from a Christian church (based on the lyrics), but I didn't catch what specific group they were with. They all seemed talented.

Since everyone was wearing old fashioned attire, which was mainly black and white, I thought doing the whole picture in black+white, plus some cropping out of modernity, would make it look like it could be from the past. I guesse I've been on a bit of black and white kick lately.
