This is one of the photos I took at Tomkins Park (17 Avenue and 8 Street SW) in Calgary, Alberta. There were two rallies, that partially overlapped each other. Anti-seal protesters came first, and then the anti-war protesters followed.
Dijla Al-Rekabi led anti-racist calls and encouraged motorists to honk to protest racism. This took place August 25, 2007 near the Marlborough LRT station in Calgary, Alberta.
