The run and walk started at the Calgary Tower, where participants were cheered on by the Outriders, the cheerleaders of the Calgary Stampeders. They seemed to evoke the biggest cheers from the construction site across the street.
These girls were cheerleaders at the 2007 "Take Back the Night" gathering at Central Memorial Park in Calgary, Alberta. They wipped up the crowd, before leading them off on the march.
