I was following along with the Stations of Cross procession, when it stoped at the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre (one of the stations), which is the building in the background. In the foreground is the flame and monument at Central Memorial Park for those died for Canada in military service.
This is a crop of a shot of the flame being passed, from left to right. A house is in the background. I just liked how the flame made the background look.
The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch changed hands along 20 Avenue at 15 Street NW in the Capital Hill community of Calgary on Tuesday, January 19. Everything seemed to work well.
