This is one of the pictures I took of the Rath Yatra festival in downtown Calgary. It was put on by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), commonly known as the Hare Krishnas. These two girls were walking along the procession going down 8 Avenue SW as it made its way to Shaw Millennium Park.

This is one of the pictures I took of the Rath Yatra festival put on by followers of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in Calgary. The large chariot was pulled by worshipers chanting Hare Krishna.

At this point the worshipers temporarily stopped pulling the chariot (off camera) down 8 Avenue SW. The girl with the microphone, and others, were singing/chanting the Maha Mantra:
