FlickR Album: Tibet 2008-03-29

These are pictures I took in downtown Calgary on March 29, 2008 of Tibet related political rallies. There was a rally of roughly 600 people that started in Olympic Plaza and marched around downtown, who supported how the Chinese government dealt with dissent in Tibet. A smaller counter-protest was held at the Chinese consulate, with about 60 people.

Interesting, there was a greater difference in signs and points of views in the smaller protest.
