Margaret Peggy Askin from the Calgary District Labour Council is in the foreground. She is a regular at many protests in Calgary. She obviously with the anti-racist protesters. She made an attempt start chants on things like terrorism legislation and other issues, but those attempts fell flat.
This is one of the photos I took of a demonstration by a small group of Nazis (organized by the Aryan Guard) and a much larger group of anti-racists opposing the Nazis at Calgary’s City Hall on Saturday, October 14, 2007.
