Tararam, a performance group that mixes drums, various other objects to make sound, and dance. They put on a high energy that was popular with the large crowd that stopped to listen. Unfortunately, I missed the start, and with the difficulty of the crowd, didn’t capture the best parts.
The Calgary Jewish Community Council put on a Celebration of Canada/Israel Friendship on Stephen Avenue on June 16, 2009. The event recognizes 60 years of official recognition between Canada and Israel, which started May 11, 1949.
