If you notice something looking funny, it’s probably because I flipped the photo horizontally. I didn’t like that "Freedom" was backwards. Unfortunatley, that made other text backwards during the fix.
This was taken on Saturday, March 17, 2012 outside City Hall in downtown Calgary. Protesters seeking an end to the Assad regime have been gathering here weekly since the uprising in Syria began a year ago. This was an extra large gathering, which included a signficant number of Lebanese Canadians, as well as other non-Syrians.
