A still image doesn’t show properly how the girls synchronized all their waves for a neat effect. This was the City of Vernon float. The girls are the winners in the Queen Silver Star Excellence Program.
I took this on July 3, 2009, near the end of the Calgary Stampede Parade, as it finished up along 9 Avenue SE, near 4 Street.
