And, he and everybody who I saw fall, did seem to get up ok.
These are steps outside of City Hall. This is one of many falls. It seemed like most people who went over the steps, ended up falling to the ground.
Go Skateboarding Day was marked on June 21, 2009 by hundreds of people skateboarding at multiple sites throughout downtown Calgary.

For the best overall representation of the day see this video by Moulton Steel Productions. Near the end, in an incident I didn’t see personally, an officer actually threatened skateboarders in the street with unleashing his attack dog on them.
