The annual Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion fundraiser took place outside of Eau Claire Market in Calgary on Sunday, June 14, 2009. It raises money to find a cure for spinal injuries, as well as improving accessibility for people with disabilities. People who are able to walk find out what it’s like to navigate a race course in a wheelchair. Competitors included politicians and media personalities.
