These are pictures I took at the "Save Kananaskis Rally" held on Memorial Drive, at the corner with the 10 Street NW by the Calgary Parks building. Protesters objected to the Government of Alberta’s logging policy, particularly in terms of allowing clear cutting.

Held near sunset, about the only shots that worked out were close-in with flash. There seemed to be a fairly good turnout. My one petty peeve at the event, was people leaving their bikes where people were gathering on the grass.
