I was asked to take their photo. So, I’m always happy to oblige, and said they could find the image here. Unfortunately, I had a long lens on my camera (70-300mm) which means I couldn’t take a wide shot, even when standing a distance back. So, hopefully this is ok. If this is you, please let me know if you got it.
This is one of the pictures I took at the annual Lilac Festival held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 (it’s always the last Sunday of May) along 4 Street SW, just south of downtown in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The weather was very good, but with enough little drips for brief periods, to keep the crowds manageable which I liked.
