Protest at Chinese Consulate

Protest at Chinese Consulate

After leaving the Lilac Festival, I was walking downtown and happened upon a protest march by the Vietnamese Canadian community in Calgary, specifically against recent acts by China, but also there was an expression of opposition against the communist government of Vietnam, which is why you see the flag that was flown by South Vietnam. The protesters marched through the streets downtown (travelling several blocks) until they arrived at the Chinese Consulate. I’m not sure how many there were, but it was in the hundreds.
