Some Occupy Calgary supporters have also been supporting the Syrian cause by joining in some of the protests.
A group of mainly Syrian Canadians in Calgary have been holding a weekly protest outside City Hall ever since the Syrian uprising began last year. They’re seeking an end to the violence and removal of the Assad regime.
