
So, this time, I’m using off-camera Sigma DG 530 Super Flash (camera left) with Cactus v4 Triggers. I kind of like the shadows on the face created by the flash, since it gives it a more connected feel.
It looks like great weather to be on the water, but it was still cool in the morning, and the water was cold. So, this required taking a risk of getting wetter than intended.
I didn’t use an umbrella this time, since I didn’t want it to blow in the water (again). I suppose the umbrella would have softened the shadows, which would probably have been better.
