This is one of the photos I took of a demonstration by a small group of Nazis (organized by the Aryan Guard) and a much larger group of anti-racists opposing the Nazis at Calgary’s City Hall on Saturday, October 14, 2007. Some of the Nazis (like the girl in the centre here) covered their heads to supposedly protest Muslim women voting with their heads covered.
While most people were at the steps of the City Hall, a couple people with the Nazi group sat on bench, wearing balaclavas, by City Hall, along Macleod Trail, and discussed things with some anti-racists surrounding them.
